Bechdel Test Movie List

Wonder Woman and Lola Bunny talk to each other about Lola's final test to become an Amazon and how she passes it.

I cant find the newest space jam so here is my thoughts on Space Jam 2: A New Legacy;

Lola bunny serves a as a strong female character. Behind Lebron James, she is the second best play on the court.

When first introduced she was shown talking to wonder-woman, another strong female, before absolutely dominating the obstacle course.

However, this is the only instance where this passes the bechdel test. There is a total of 8 women in this movie with dialogue.

Other notable scenes are where granny Webster dominates on the basketball court, where lola bunny talks to Wonder-woman after loosing the course but they were talking about help her friends (whom are male), and the two women on the 'goon squad' were shown making gestures to each other.

This was a little disappointing that they only pass the bechdel test once in the whole film, however they did a good job taking into account that the looney tunes is traditionally male dominated. They tried adding women anywhere they could, including WNBA players and a woman CEO of warner bros.

Wonder Woman has no name in the film, is just "princess".

While Wonder Woman and Lola Bunny do talk about her passing the trials to become an Amazon, Lola literally fails the obstacle course (which she is clearly capable of) due to Bugs and LeBron's interference. They literally interrupt the scene and while Wonder Woman does not name Bugs, she passes Lola because of her sacrifice for Bugs, LeBron, and LeBron's son. The writers create this parallel female world only for Bugs to fridge himself to manipulate Lola away from her chosen life.
