The conversation between Martha and Lois passes this site's definition of the Bechdel Test ("talk about" rather than "have a conversation about"). Martha and Lois talk about Martha losing her home, even though it is during a conversation about Clark.

It's disappointing that a 4-hour movie couldn't do better than a technicality, but that's a different discussion.
