Carol and her mom Beverly have lots of dialog but it seems to always be about her son or about Melvin. There was that heartfelt moment between them where they talk about men in general but not a specific man.
Jackie (the publicist played by Yeardley Smith) doesn't have any dialog with other women. Nor does Lupe Ontiveros.
The waitresses at the diner talking about their jobs do not discuss men, but none of them are named.

Beverly: “So what are you saying, that you’re frustrated?”
Carol: “Leave me be. Why are you doing this? What is it you want? Does getting me thinking about all that’s wrong when all I want to do is not do that have some purpose? Really, Mom, what is it you want? What?”
Beverly: “I want us to go out”
Carol: “Okay.”
