The movie focuses on recently engaged Lauren who goes on a search for her mother, Daffy, after she's gone AWOL in the Australian Outback.
There are many instances where Lauren shares a conversation with other women, such as when she has her Bachelorette outing with her three other female friends (who are all named). They reminisce on things and do talk about other things besides a man.
Lauren also shares a heartfelt conversation with her mum once they reunite.
