The sexually abused schoolgirl is called Janie Edmonds. Johnson's wife is listed in the credits as "Maureen" but in the couple's single long scene, he never uses her name (though she repeatedly refers to him as "Johnny"). The actual well-being of the female rape victim is completely ignored and we are treated to a series of psychological profiles of tortured males: the violent cop, the alleged abuser, and the corrupt police abuse investigator. Yawn.
