this is a classic war movie that doesn't feature women and justifies that based on the commonly used argument that women weren't part of war.

there are a few named women in the movie, in very minor roles (Madame Barrault, Janine Boitard, ... ) but they do not talk to eachother, so that's a 1/3 fail not 0/3
