Never on Sunday (Greek: Ποτέ την Κυριακή, Poté tin Kyriakí) is a 1960 Greek black-and-white romantic comedy film. The film tells the story of Ilya, a prostitute who lives in the port of Piraeus in Greece, and Homer, an American tourist who is in love with Ilya and would like to "improve" her. Ilya is a very cheerful and independant character. Despite the fact that the whole movie is about a woman as main character, she is surrounded by len /clients and has hardly any relationship with other women. The only other women in the film are other prostitutes and all they talk to each other about is how to escape the grip of their pim, M. Noface.
