It's been a while since I've seen this movie, but the only female character I can think of is Gordy's mom, who is in grief over her other son's death and doesn't really speak anymore as a result.

Still a darn good film overall.
I'd like to point out most of Stephen Kings movies fail the test, usually a 0 out of 3. He's a great writer but he cannot do groups of women talking about something other than a man.
Misery only has one named female but she got an Oscar and she's definitely NOT a stereotypical Hollywood character.
