Mrs van houten(land lord) comes to kick Sera out of her appartment after she was raped by those college students, Ben did not live with her at this point anymore, so this movie should pass the test fully.

The owner of the hotel (named Harris) comes and talks with Sera. They discuss the broken table, and Harris says that she sees a lot of screw ups in this business, and asks them to check out the following morning. Ben is never referenced specifically, although Harris does make indirect reference to the both of them: Not sure if that disqualifies it.
