The reporter is named Cynthia McMaster, which is on IMDB. However, she is not on the main cast list.

Lucy /does/ call her Cynthia in the scene, though

I think it's not really about Cynthia being named. She is a side character who disappears at once. I didn't remember her, and I saw the movie just last week. In the sence of importance she is an unnamed character. In my opinion it is importance to the plot that matters. The importance is just measured by asking if they're named.

The movie does pass the Bechdel test, because it literally meets the requirements. Anyone who disagrees is just being nitpicky and illogical.

It is very brief but Lucy calls her Mrs. McMasters and asks her if she can run a story. She ignores what she says however, asks her for a coffee and leaves. Lucy then says "Sure Cynthia" to herself.
