there might be a "heavy male view" but the women are treated like real people. Not perfect. Not evil. Just real. They do some good things and some bad things but they come across as more genuine than mainstream Hollywood films normally show.
Yeah its disgusting the men are mostly horrible. One of them a rapist, the other an adulterer. The "good guy" is a dunce. And the principal seems more concerned with avoiding lawsuits than actually taking care of the kids.
