This is actually the best movie ever.
There's plenty of strong femininity and discussions about things other than men.

Rosemary Woodhouse meets a young woman, Terry Gionoffrio in the basement laundry room, and Terry tells her she has been taken in and helped by the Castavets after sleeping on the streets and doing drugs. She says Roman and Minnie have been like grandparents to her. As Rosemary admires a pendant necklace the Castavets gave to Terry, she remarks on the strange smell which seems to be coming from the pendant, and Terry tells her it is from some kind of root, from there it all goes tits up pardon the pun! Is the basement an obvious metaphor for hell, they have a conversation that is overtly feminine with a strong mood of women against the world in the air, I think Bechdel would have been proud.

Minnie and Rosemary talk about furniture, decorating an apartment, and herbal drinks. (And about Rosemary's pregnancy of course). Rosemary's friends shut Guy out of the room while they talk about her pregnancy.

This movie showed how Rosemary tried to escape and resist, and I enjoyed it when her husband was shut out of the door. However,it seems that Rosemary is still not strong enough(I meant mentally)and trusts people too easily.I wonder what will happen if she turns to another
doctor, uses some excuses and says nothing about the witches

Interesting to note that the scene where her friends push Guy out of the kitchen is completely removed from some versions of this film, including a version I payed to view on cable.
