There are only two significant named female characters across the 6 different stories in the film, and they appear in separate stories. In one segment, some women briefly speak to an unnamed landlady during a dinner, but this isn't enough to count as a pass.

While I agree that the women in the beginning of "The Gal Who Got Rattled" segment were not necessarily significant for the for the story, they were named (Mrs Flannery and Mrs Halliday). And they did talk to each other about something (chicken & dumplings!) besides a man. So that IS a pass.
