Searching has at least two women in it, Mom and her's daughter. But, they didn't communication each other. Because Mother die early in the movie.

Actually, the mom and daughter are seen baking/cooking together in flashbacks. The daughter chats with people online. You also have to think about the context of which the movie was made.
