There is only one named female character: Rosengurdle Baumgartner, a lesbian portrayed as man-hating and unreasonably prickly. There is a deleted scene featuring the unnamed mother, however she does not communicate with any other female character.

There are two women in the movie. They're drug addicted prostitutes.

Rosengurtle Baumgartener, Donna (Rocco's girlfriend), and Rayvie (Donna's friend). None of them talk to each other, but they exist and are named in the movie.

Devin Mandi disagreed with the rating and said:
There are 4 female characters in this film, Rosengurtie (the trainee at the meat packing plant), Donna (Rocco's druggie ex girlfriend), Rayvie (Donna's friend), and Sally McBride (the channel 22 news anchor) All of whom have speaking parts but at no time do two of the named female characters, or any two women for that matter, have a conversation with one another.
Though Donna and Rayvie are together in the scene when Rocco is rushing to leave the apartment they speak only to him and not to each other. For these reasons this movie, while having at least two named female characters, does not pass the Bechdel test.
