Some of the names are not obvious from the dialogue, but then again, Japanese films often don't make many names obvious. In the same convo at the bath where Mika and Yuriko talk about work, they also talk about Daigo, the main male character.

I feel that it's worth noting that Okuribito carries a lot of sexist baggage with being Japanese. All the women are significant to the movie in terms of being wives and mothers. Even the secretary at Daigo's job eventually makes a rousing speech as a mother.
