The film has one conversation that unambiguously passes. After Princess Mona Braganza commissions Reynolds to design her wedding dress, while she is being size up, Alma walks up to her, congratulating her on getting married (no reference to a husband), introducing herself to her and explaining that she lives at the house (without referencing Reynolds at all). Princess Mona politely responds to each of these addresses.

If this is the only scene you found, I would challenge in that the scene is clearly a power play between the two women over Reynolds. No husband is mentioned and Reynolds is not named either but the conversation is entirely about him.

It should be noted that the film implies she's doing it to intimidate her from flirting with Reynolds. It's motivated by him.

I agree, but there's at least one more scene that passes I think: After Reynolds has fallen ill (for the first time), Cyril instructs the all-female staff (we know several of their names: Biddy, Pippa, Nana...) to repair the Princess's wedding dress and some of them briefly respond. In between, Alama shortly talks to Biddy, also about the dress.
