Laure is the central character (the titular "Femme Fatale" if you'll pardon the expression) and interacts with several other female characters throughout; most notably with Veronica (at the beginning of the film they interact their brains out, but they also have discussions about the stolen diamonds, amongst other things).
Laure also manages to talk Lili out of committing suicide later in the film. Although both women are actually played by the same actress (don't ask) they are two separate characters.
