The two main characters of this movie are 17 year old girls, who talk with each other about their lives, their feelings, what they want to do when they get older, and, in fact, almost never about men at all. And they ride off into the sunset together at the end of the movie. Literally.

I completely and totally agree with this rating. When it comes to talk about men, there is maybe a total of two conversations when one of the girls realizes that she has a crush, but then finds out he is taken (saying any more would spoil it). Other than that, it's actually a very empowering film about two girls who form an unlikely friendship.

I think there's only one instance where two male characters speak to each other, and it's for only a few moments -- in the presence of the two main characters, and *about* the two main characters (both women).
