Bechdel Test Movie List

It is about a woman who is getting married to somebody else, but when she goes home to try to get her husband to sign the paper she starts falling back in love with him.

Two named women have a conversation about fashion. So I think it passes more than one test.

Melanie talk with more than one female character, and she talk with Lurlynn (I think) about her career

The movie has multiple named women. They do talk about men a lot but there are some cases that makes the movie pass.

Its a stretch but the first is Melanie and her assistant Pan. They talk about fashion and coffee within the first 10 minutes of the movie.

Then you have Mayor Kate Hennings and Pearl Smooter. Both have conversations with Melanie as well as with each other.

Melanie also speaks with an old friend Dorthea about money and the ATM briefly that conversation quickly moves to men. Same with Lurlynn. They talk about her children and Melanie’s clothes.

The movie passes but just barely in some cases.

This passes all three. There may be some dubious conversations, but Melanie and Lurlynn discuss Melanie's clothes. Lurlynn says she almost bought the same top Melanie has on, and Melanie says that she designed it herself. They probably exchange a few lines of dialogue, and I remember Lurlynn mentions another (female) designer. Clear and non-dubious pass.

I believe this movie passes all 3 tests however their are female characters that talk about men alot through the movie
