It does have Bette Midler in it, but she is addressing the audience and anyway isn't really a character.

Yeah this isn't a regular movie, more of a special interest movie. So no real characters and the animated ones are either mute or just don't engage with each other. But its well made and not as old fashioned as the earlier Fantasia.
