Lina (Joan Fontaine) talks to several named female characters. Sometimes the conversation is about her husband Johnnie, but sometimes it isn't. These characters are her mother Mrs. McLaidlaw (Dame May Whitty), the Braham sisters (not credited but named) and the writter Isobel Sedbusk (Auriol Lee). Actually, the conversations with Isobel are plot-relevant.

We even have Mrs McLaidlaw's first name - Martha - which emerges during the reading of her husband's will. And there's also a tiny exchange during Isobel's dinner party, which incidentally nails the fact that Isobel is a lesbian:
Isobel: Do the wine, will you Phil?
Phil: Yes Issy.
