There are plenty of named female characters in this movie, but yhe only two who speak each other are Liz Garrison (Sissy Spacek) and Mattie (Pat Perkins). This happens twice during the movie, being both times just single phrases with no plot releance at all (v.g. when Liz tells Mattie 'Get a hold on yourself' after JFK is declared dead on TV). It passes, but just because of a technicality.

Actually, while Liz on two occasions orders Mattie to "get a hold of herself" and "put the children to bed", Mattie doesn't verbally respond, so this can't be counted as a conversation. Liz does later talk to her daughter, Virginia, but they only talk about Virginia's father and the mysterious man who called.
