Bechdel Test Movie List

The movie passes with flying colors, with the second group of four women talking about all manner of non-male related things, including cars, movies, and careers.

This is an example of a film that passes the test so well. You really get a sense of how layered these women are by their very natural everyday conversations.

I feel like even though all the protagonists are women, that 90% of what the characters talk about are men. If it does pass the Bechdel test, it barely passes.

The first group of women did talk about men 90% of the time. They also all died. The second group of women talked about men once and survived. I don't think that's a coincidence.

I don't think the movie "barely" passes the test, yes they talk about men but not all the movie, they talk about work, about movies, trips...

The first group talks mostly about men, but even they talk about other things.
The second group has extended conversations about a number of topics, rarely men. Most of the film is actually just women talking, and they're intelligent, capable women too.

I absolutely agree this movie passes with flying colors. The women are smart interesting and self-actualized. they talk about men as if they are beneath them, not in reverence or insecurity.
and lets face it, women talk about guys. Hell i talk to women about guys constantly. the point of the test is to find movies that are misogynist and male dominated. This film is absolutely not.
It almost seems like QT decided to flip the roles and have few men only talking about women in the film..
and even if the first group only talks about guys (and weed..) i'd still love to hang out with them..of course now they're all dead :(

This film pass the test easily, no doubt about that, but to those who hails it for that, i have to remember you how it handle Mary Elizabeth Winstead's character, Lee Montgomery.
Her "friends" basicly tells to the Challenger's creepy owner she's a porn actress, left her as a colateral so they can recklessly test the car, and almost totaled it in that process... The movie doesn't say a word about Lee's fate, but it doesn't let us much hope about it either.
