Although the show centres around the tale of two brothers it also features two ladies who end up finding themselves and what they want in life. Although the ladies begin their initial discussion focused on men they move past that and evolve throughout the show. There are actually 4 women in the movie who I would argue play a prominent role, but two are particularly featured.

i liked that this movie, despite having two male protagonist, the girls drive their own lives, men are just part of their lives. One of them is getting married, but develops a friendship with other women. Cousin Terry owns her sexuality and Aubrey Plaza's Character don't give a fuck about what men think. Female characters are well developed as male characters are.
With two male protagonist, the female cast steals the show, that's awesome

Definitely passes the test. There are a number of anti-lady moments, but less so than in most movies. The movie seems relatively aware of when these are happening and does put in effort to defuse these moments when they happen. There are five named woman characters, and most of them have conversations that aren't about men.

Good one, Anastasia! The premise makes this seem like such an obvious "bro" movie, but the focus on the female characters is surprising and heartwarming. Anna Kendrick's fantastic comic delivery & timing is a highlight.
