Jean Grey and Mystique make a short exchange about whether or not Mystique was scared to do her missions. It's a short exchange but it still passes.

Would the exchange with Jubilee and Jean Grey about Star Wars count?

Bizarrely for a film whose very name is Xmen, with no mention of women, this film contains a lot of main characters who are female. Looking at it with Bechdale criteria just shows me how accepting I have been of the usual formula of films(leads are male, speaking parts are male, etc.). This film is a step forward along mildly encouraging progress, but there's a long way to go still for films in general!

The X-Men comics (especially by Chris Claremont in the 80's) we're especially female centric. I think that if a different director and a better writer worked on the films, we would see more focus on the friendships between Storm and Jean and Rogue. But since this is Bryan Singer we mostly get Magneto, Xavier, and Wolverine
