Thirteen women remain warm and supportive friends as adults, visiting and phoning through many life crises. Then, this horror film, shows them dying off 1 by 1, after getting warning letters from a dubious swami. Troubling plot issue over 'half-Asian half breed' played by Myrna Loy in brown face. Yet issues of mean girls and racial passing are also provocative in this well-acted film.
