Strong-minded, outspoken, beautiful and very funny Nora Charles (Myrna Loy) runs a detective agency with the Thin Man, her husband, Nick Charles (William Powell). On a visit to his home town, they bust up a spy ring. Many well-developed, named women characters speak their minds in this film - a spy, a temptress, Nick's mom, the town "crazy" lady whose story makes sense, the more you know. Yet they don't talk to each other about anything except the guys. High energy Nora steals the show, as in all the Thin Man films. Current films have nothing like her.
