Korean queen mother, concubiness, and wife of psychotic crown prince plot for their own survival amidst murderous palace politics. The emperor eventually murders his own son. Though the main plot concerns the men, all the women have strong roles. Based on life of King Yeongjo and Prince Sado. Good script.
