She leads a conversation with her mother a few times (always in the company of her brother) but it is always about her love for Reggie. The first time she is going to her first date with him, the second is on her wedding.
She exchanges a few lines with his mother though. His mother scolds her for not being able to serve tea properly, then Frances replies something apologetically. The mother takes on from that moment and Frances leaves the room.
I find it funny though that it actually passes the test because of these two lines.
