Bechdel Test Movie List

There are very few characters in the movie, only two main characters one male one female, Richard and Emmeline. There is one supporting character at the beginning of the film who is male, Paddy, making it pass the reverse Bechdel test. There are a small number of minor characters with a tiny amount of screen time but they are all male, and most of them are non-speaking and unnamed as well.

Its difficult to pass the official test when you only have two characters. Maybe somebody a film maker will do a modern update on this idea with either two men, or two women (NOT a porno).
Having said that its still a good story in concept. It shows a realistic guess as to what it would be like for one boy and one girl to grow up with just each other. With no sex-ed and no adults to guide them, how would they figure out things like relationships, puberty, and sex? Might qualify as feminist in general in that the lone woman is relatively strong and 3 dimensional.
