The two named female characters are Jesse and May. Most of their interaction is May talking to Jesse and Jesse is typically too distressed or distracted to respond at the moment. They have one small exchange about what to do when the car stalls on the highway.

This definitely passes the Bechdel test, and it’s not dubious. Here’s the passing conversation between May and Jess 1:13.02-09:
- Jess: “The motor!”
- May: “What are you trying to say?”
- Jess: “I don’t know it just died on me.
- May: “Get out. Run!”
This is a conversation between two named female characters which is not about a man, so it definitely passes the Bechdel test.
