Actually this rating incorrect. Norma calls Betty, but they do talk about a man (Joe) Betty has a roommate (who has a name, but I can't recall it ATM). They talk to each other about something other than a man (mostly about Norma).

BTW her roommate's name is Connie; it's been a bit since I've seen the movie.

It's not a lot, but it's a pass. Betty and Norma talk about Joe, and Betty and Connie talk to each other. Just a couple of sentences, and I think it's the only time we see Connie, but this should be 3/3.

As already stated Betty and Connie talk about something else than a man: both in their flat and when Connie drives Betty to Norma's house:
Dialog taken from scripts.com (id=sunset_boulevard_993, pp. 103 and 106)
1.
E-22 A BEDROOM IN BETTY'S FLAT
Connie, a girl of Betty's age with whom she shares the flat, is on the phone. Betty, in a dressing-gown, comes from the bathroom, toothbrush in hand.
CONNIE: (Hand over mouthpiece) Betty, here's that weird-sounding woman again.
BETTY: What is this anyway? (Taking the phone) This is Betty Schaefer.
2.
E-28 BETTY AND CONNIE, DRIVING IN A SMALL COUPE DOWN (NIGHT)
E-29 INT. COUPE
Connie is looking at the house numbers.
CONNIE: Here's ten thousand seventy-nine, Betty. It must be over there.
Betty turns the car into the driveway of Norma's place, stops at the entrance steps. Betty gets out.
CONNIE: Betty, let me come along with you. Please.
BETTY: No, I'll be all right.
She shuts the door of the car and goes up the steps.

Betty does have a couple scenes where she talks to Connie, her roommate who also gives her a ride and tries to keep her safe from her strange situation.
