Bechdel Test Movie List

I was kind of dazzled by this film. While it is of the Christian variety and yes, plugs God, it really is incredible how well women are represented as the script is especially good at drawing attention away from sexism. While there are two specific instances of "Uppity spinster" and "I need a REAL doctor" (The main heroine and her best friend are both licensed physicians) but for the most part I was very impressed how the rest of the time, the men treat the heroines like people. If they have problems with them, gender and sex are not a part of the conflict.
