I'm pretty sure it passes? Only barely though-- there are two named twin sisters who share an extremely brief conversation (maybe three lines?) during a fight sequence

Adelita and Nina have a few short conversations that aren't about men, and I am pretty sure other named female characters discuss things besides men.

The twins during the fight sequence are talking about a boy. something like; "and then he was like, and i was like..." While watching I was unable to find any instance that passes the test. I don't think the female lead even talks to another female.

At the very end of the movie, La Muerte says good bye or and possibly something inspirational to a little blond girl driving away on the bus, using her name. So technically I think it passes, but not in a meaningful sense. I agree that Maria, the lead female character never speaks to another woman - just her two suitors and her dad.
You're forgetting the tour guide speaking to the girl students. Despite being a strong female character, I don't think Maria ever speaks to another woman.

Sasha (one of the female students) talks to La Catrina at the end, where La Catrina reveals herself to be her where she was disguised as a worker before, so two named female characters do talk about something besides men (Sasha said something along the lines of "you're la catrina?" with the response of "yes I am" or something like that from la Catrina).
