The movie clearly passes. Grace and her mother, Sarah, have one long-ish interaction where they talk about Grace's clothing style and about whether Sarah is happy or not.

This is incorrect. I am a Kickstarter backer of this project and watched the film stream with Bechdel in mind. It took about 17 minutes in before the qualifying scene arrived, but Sarah and Grace (mother and daughter) have a conversation in her room that satisfies the test. Sadly, it was the only scene that did.
