Life of Riley, which was the last movie Resnais directed before his death, is based on destroyed marriages and cheap cheating. Women most of the time talk or about George, the man all of them love, or about their husbands. Practically the whole movie is about that. Even men spend time only discussing their relationships (although this is stronger among women).
