Bechdel Test Movie List

There are at least six named female characters in this movie. Shari (Jenna Elfman), the love interest; Cynthia (Ellen DeGeneres), the television executive; Jeanette (Sally Kirkland), the mother; Rita (Wendle Josepher), Shari's roommate; and Marcia (Viveka Davis), the sister. And you'd think that Shari and her roommate would at least have a conversation. but nope. It's a shame, really. Shari, Cynthia and Jeanette are all awesome characters, they just never speak to each other.
