The central relationship of the film is between a brother (Tim) and sister (Kaylie) across two time periods.
Their mother (Marie) only exists in the earlier timelines. They talk about the family dog, rules for playing in the house, a mysterious woman they are seeing visions of, and various other things they don't understand are signs the house is being haunted.
In the present Kaylie only interacts with her brother primarily where she is by far the most proactive in wanting kill the entity that killed their partners and prove it really was a ghost. She also has a conversation with her fiance about her obsession.

Yeah, almost doesn't pass though. The only conversation that makes it a solid 3/3 is when the family is at the dinner table and kaylie (sp?) is hounding her mother for a cell phone, and the mother refuses to relent and buy her one. this argument lasts a while before the conversation shifts to include the other (male) members of the family. Lasts longer than 30 seconds, I believe. Slim pickin's.
