No two women have a direct conversation.

I would disagree. There is a scene where one of the main characters talks to her mother (and her mothers nurse) and there is no mention of men (unless you count God as a man, which I have always had a problem with). It is not meaningful conversation since the woman has dementia, but it is a conversation.

I take it back. It does not appear that the mother is named in the movie.

Isn't there a scene where a random female student approaches the Middle Eastern girl, compliments her beauty, and says she wishes the girl didn't need to wear a hijab? The student isn't named, so I suppose it doesn't count.

I disagree with this rating. The journalist character Amy Ryan says to Korie Robertson (who is technically playing herself but is still a named character with scripted lines), “I am actually surprised to see you here. I thought you’d be home barefoot and pregnant.” And Korie responds back, “I haven’t been barefoot and pregnant in a really long time. I do kinda miss those days.” A male character is standing beside them, but Amy asks Korie a direct question and Korie responds back directly to Amy.

There are also many instances of named female characters speaking with unnamed female characters about a range of issues. However, those do not pass the bracketed section of the first rule.

Re:Tim Collins.

god is not a man, neither is god a woman. god is spirit. god may be referred to by male pronouns and with the epithet of "father" but spirits don't have genitals. jesus was a man though, and they do talk about him somewhat in this movie.

Disagree per Samantha, should be 3/3 for Amy and Korie.
