The main characters in this movie are not given names IN the movie. They are known by their student numbers, 763092 (the hero) and 784533 (the heroine). The secondary characters are only named 3/4 of the way through the movie, and they are Dr. Hu and Ruby. This wonderful movie passes only because 784533 and Ruby talk over the phone twice, and in person once. The two phone conversations lasted less than 30 seconds and were entirely about what to order for food, while the face-to-face conversation was about a smudged phone number.
It's a difficult movie to perform this test on. Though there are an equal number of men and women in the movie, so much of the dialogue is between the genders. There is rarely an occurrence of a man talking to a man, or a woman talking to a woman.
