There are three named women in this movie who all have conversations with each other about more than a man. First, Beth asks Ellie if "[she] has taken her medication this morning?" about 12 mins into the movie. Later on, Beth has a conversation with the school principal, Principal Miller, about possibly taking a permanent teaching job at the school because another teacher Julie is not coming back. That occurs about 30 mins into the film. Beth and Ellie have a few other exchanges talking about school, drinking, and other things. Lastly, Beth and the principal have a conversation towards the end of the movie of Beth accepting the full time teaching position.
