The movie is about two married couples and their sons, and the largest role is one of the fathers. However, there are important female characters and the two mothers have a significant relationship. There are several scenes where women talk to each other. They are almost always talking about sons or husbands, but there is a scene where they talk about a nurse in the hospital where they both gave birth that I think passes.
