Females Misato and Maya talks together frequently throughout the film, usually about the Evangelions or Lilith, both of which are either female or sexless. Two males, Makoto and Kouzou, often takes part in these discussions, but not always. Asuka and her mother have a short talk about death. Misato, Ritsuko and Asuka have an exchange about using sex as a way to feel needed (since all three appears to be heterosexual this might be considered "talking about men", but the implication is that this is something humans do in general and not just something women do towards men). Maya and what is either Ritsuko or Rei share what may or may not be considered dialogue near the end. (Spoiler: Ritsuko/Rei types "I need you" on Maya's keyboard and the two embrace each other as Maya repeats Ritsuko's title over and over until they "die".)
