Though the cast includes four named female characters with dialogue, almost every conversation between any two of them is either about a man or about Tracy's looming marriage; even the running joke between the Tracy and Dinah about the latter contracting smallpox is in reference to cancelling said wedding. The only conversation that might save the film's rating is the short exchange between Tracy and Dinah regarding the merits of Spy Magazine.
