To be fair, Amy Smart (Melissa) and Tim Chiou (Yul) carry the film; they play a young couple being pursued by demons when they find themselves stranded in rural China on their honeymoon. There's only one other named character, their tour guide Ping. Yul gives him a gift and the two exchange multiple lines of dialogue - so the film does pass the reverse Bechdel, despite its limited cast. The couple also run into an unnamed man who's fleeing from the demons as well.
