Bechdel Test Movie List

The film passes in the very first season, as a female parole officer (one of the main protagonists) talks to a female parolee about her parole violations, then to a female trainee about their shared job, then to an old female friend from high school (the other main protagonist) about her legal problems. The film is primarily about the tenuous relationship between a former drug addict trying to get clean, and the parole officer using the addict's connections for her own purposes; it's a procedural detective story, but it's also about the women's long-ago high-school relationship, and how they've changed as people and ended up on opposite sides of the law, even though they aren't that different.
