There's plenty of named female characters (Sylvia Trench, Miss Moneypenny, Miss Taro, Honey Ryder, Sister Lily, Sister Rose), but they don't talk with each other. Actually, most of the time every woman Bond encounters in this movie is gone before the next one appears.

Dr. No surely fails the spirit of the test, but Miss Lily (or was it Miss Rose), the nurse after contamination, talks to Honey Ryder about her room and her fresh clothes. It's incidental, and of no import, other than to make the audience feel how weird and scary the situation is. But I think it technically passes 3 out of 3. Don't watch it if you want strong female characters, but it's a 60's bond flick, not high drama.

Agree with Val above, this fails the spirit of the test but passes on a technicality. Although Honey Ryder is quite a strong character - she tells us she educated herself, survives independently, and murdered her rapist in a particularly agonising way.
