Faye Dunaway's character does tell another woman to take her place in line, but that's not a conversation. This film has a mature (60+) but physically competent woman defer to a 10-year-old boy in 'protecting' her and his little sister from a fire because he's a male.

Bob disagreed with the rating and said:
This rating is only accurate if deaf people don't count as talking.

The film doesn't really pass the test. Susan and Patty are seated together but we never hear them converse.
I read Lisolette allowing Phillip to be her protector, was her giving him a focus. Lisolette was depicted as a courageous and heroic character.
