The great Lily Tomlin has a conversation with an acquaintance at a party about a woman's illness.
Full of strong, interesting, vivid female characters, but nearly all their conversations are either with men or concern men, including unfortunately Barbara Baxley (Lady Pearl)'s wonderful improvisation to Geraldine Chaplin (Opal) about her love for the Kennedy brothers.

Linnea(Tomlin) and Opal(Chaplin)also have a conversation in the traffic jam, in Linnea's car, about Linnea's deaf children.

There is also the brief exchange backstage at the Grand Ole Opry between Connie White (Karen Black) and Albuqurque (Barbara Harris). Strange as it is, they definitely are not talking about a man.
